Sometimes life feels completely out of control and we tend to overthink. We can't always predict the outcome or foreknow what is ahead of us on our journey. If we aren't paying close attention, things can happen when you least expect them or in a way that seems completely random. The truth is, though, that the best things are those we weren't in control of. The things that happen to you happen because you decided to leave early, reply to a post, or take a right at the light. What do we do with these encounters that appear to be chance or sheer luck but end up changing our lives forever?
Some call it coincidence. That randomness just so happened to roll in your favor and produce this incredible outcome. Some believe that your vibe has created an opportunity for karma to bring you a nice gift. (That one isn't that far off, btw) True enough, there is some truth to those outlooks. Personally, though, I believe in Divine creation.
I believe that something (someone) is guiding the decisions we make that lead to our special encounters, each one bringing us closer to the Divine and further into our healing. I believe that we can't really mess this thing up. I mean, we can make things a little more difficult than they need to be. We can endure some heartache that could have been avoided. We can cause some heartache too. But, to me, if ALL things work for the good then nothing I do can mess this up. To me, there is always a route in place to lead us back to the good things stored up for us.
That being said, it doesn't always feel good. Sometimes the road to our miracle traverses some woods and mountains. But even then, it eventually leads to our good, our health, our freedom, our victory. When I look back over my life and focus on the things that had to have happened in order to be where I am now, I'm in awe of how detailed I believe God works. I'm also humbled at how much he loves and shows that love!
So this post is just a thank you to my God for all the people he has in place to impact my life, especially the ones that are being a tangible representation of his unconditional love. And a thank you for reminding me that I don't have to be in control because He is, and he's better at it than me. Blessings Sha
